About Me

As a Fine Arts student, I completed over 7 years of art classes between two schools. I grew to love Photography more than any other medium. This Portfolio is a small number of my favorite images.

I am a very process based artist, and I enjoy learning new techniques, especially those used in the early days of photography. Working with a process that is finicky or tough to work with keeps me engaged in the work. I find these methods much more exciting than staring at a computer screen.

My content lately has been found objects, dilapidated houses and farms, and landscapes. In a way, I also look to the past or old things when choosing my subject matter as well.

Art Therapy

I have recently finished my Masters of Arts in Adlerian Counseling and Art Psychotherapy. I work with kids ages 13-21 in the school system.

Personal Art Work

I have learned all kinds of mediums, but my preferred medium is Photography. I personally love doing darkroom and film photography and if I can work with an experimental technique like Liquid Light, Pinhole, or Encaustic Photography I jump at the chance.
